Haryana identifies 36,74,833 ghost/duplicate beneficiaries of various schemes

The Haryana Chief Secretary, Sanjeev Kaushal said that out of the 83 schemes implemented by various departments of the State Government, benefits from 74 schemes have been notified under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme and have been linked to the Aadhar Card. These schemes should also be operated through Parivar Pehchan Patra, added Kaushal.

While presiding over the third meeting of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Advisory Board, Kaushal said that the State Government has effectively identified a cumulative total of 36,74,833 ghost/duplicate beneficiaries from the fiscal year 2014-15 to 2022-23.
