Minister Anil Vij orders removal investigation officer for inaction in dowry harrasement case

Chandigarh, November 21

Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij took strong cognizance of no action taken in the dowry harassment case in Yamunanagar despite the married woman filing a case seven months ago.

He rang SP Yamunanagar and instructed him to remove the IO (investigating officer) and get the investigation done by the DSP. Along with this, instructions were also given to submit the report within ten days regarding the delay in action.

. Vij was redressing the problems of people of the state at his residence in Ambala today. Even today, like every day, long queues of complainants continued to form at his residence.
