Commuters inconvenienced as Haryana Roadways workers go on strike
Karnal, November 15
With drivers and conductors of Haryana Roadways striking work on Wednesday, buses in the state remained off the roads, inconveniencing the commuters on the day of Bhai Dooj.
Haryana Roadways Workers Union had given a call for strike to protest against the recent killing of a bus driver in Ambala.
The strike affected thousands of passengers who depend on the state-run buses for commuting within and outside the state.
The passengers were left stranded at bus stands in the state.
