Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak reviews procurement arrangements for paddy at Ferozepur

Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister, Lal Chand Kataruchak visited the procurement centres of Ferozepur district today as part of a series of visits to various procurement centers of the state to take stock of smooth procurement, payment and payment of paddy crop.

On this occasion, MLA Ferozepur Urban Ranbir Singh Bhullar, MLA Ferozepur Rural Rajnish Dahiya, MLA Zira Naresh Kataria, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Dhiman and SSP Deepak Hilouri were present

During a special conversation at grain market, Ferozepur city, Cabinet Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak said that Chief Minister Punjab government led by Bhagwant Mann has set an example this season with smooth procurement, payment and timely payment of paddy and farmers are going home on time after selling their crops without any problem. He said that where the crop is being purchased on time, the government is making direct payments to the farmers’ accounts after purchasing the crop.

He said that the government is fully committed to buy each grain of the farmers.
