SVEEP cycle rally creates voter awareness in Patiala

As part of the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) drive, the Patiala district administration organized a cycle rally in Patiala here on Friday.

GA to Deputy Commissioner Patiala Manpreet Kaur PCS flagged off the rally in which more than 150 people participated Manpreet appealed to the people to participate in the electoral process to elect candidates of their choice and strengthen democracy in the country.
Before the cycle rally began, an oath was administered to the participants saying that they would cast their vote in all elections and work to strengthen democracy.

The rally passed through Jail Road, Leela Bhawan Chowk, Pohwara Chowk, and Rajbhaha Road before culminating on the premises of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

Election Tehsildar Ramji Lal, Dr Swinder Singh Rekhi district nodal officer SVEEP, Narinder Singh Nodal officer Sanaur, Prof Rupinder Singh nodal officer Patiala city, SVEEP icon Patiala and international cyclist Jagwinder Singh, Prof Shivinder Singh, Prof Sandeep Kumar district nodal officer Social media SVEEP, Manoj Kumar, Rajni Bala, Kamaljeet Kaur, Prof Sandeep Singh, Mohit Kaushal and Pooja Chawla were present on the occasion.
