Haryana CM Khattar invites CM Mann for talks on SYL canal

Amid the ongoing debate over the SYL canal, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has written a letter to his Punjab counterpart Bhagwant Mann in which he has reportedly proposed a meeting to resolve any obstacles or issues coming in the way of the construction of the SYL Canal.

“Sutlej-Yamuna Link Canal (SYL) is the right of Haryana and the Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar is taking every possible step for it. After strongly advocating this case in the Supreme Court, the Chief Minister has now written a letter to his counterpart Punjab Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Mann,” read the X thread by DPR Haryana.

“The Chief Minister made it clear that he was ready to meet them to resolve any obstacles or issues coming in the way of the construction of the SYL Canal. He said that every citizen of Haryana would like to support the early completion of the construction of SYL in the Punjab part. Waiting anxiously,” DPR Haryana. further mentioned.
