On October 11, 2023, the Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) declared the Final Result of HCS(Ex.Br.) & Other Allied Services Exam 2022 in which a total 61 candidates have been selected.

Hemant Kumar, an Advocate at Punjab & Haryana High Court has today sent a Memorandum cum Representation to HPSC complaining that aforementioned Final Result has not been declared in the Post-Wise format as has been the practice being followed by the HPSC hitherto including earlier this year in Feb, 2023 when Final Result was declared in respect of HCS(Ex.Br.) & Other Allied Services Exam 2021.

Hemant asserted that although in original Advt. No. 11/2023 as issued by HPSC on 9 February 2023, the total number of posts to be filled up on the basis of HCS(Ex.Br.) & Other Allied Services Exam 2022. were 95 including 10 posts of HCS (Ex. Br.) but via a Corrigendum issued on 7 March 2023, the total number of posts were increased to 100 however in respect of HCS (Ex. Br.), the posts were reduced from earlier advertised 10 to 9.

Apart from the above, 6 posts of DSP, 4 posts of ETO, 2 posts of DFSC, 11 posts of A Class Tehsildar, 2 posts of ARCS, 13 posts of AETO, 8 posts of BDPO, 2 posts of TM, 2 posts of DFSO, 6 posts of AEO & 35 posts of A Class Naib Tehsildar were advertised.

Since the total number of candidates who have been finally selected is 61 although total number of posts to be filled as advertised were 100, hence 39 posts would remain vacant, it must be duly put in public domain by HPSC regarding on which posts candidates have been selected thus it would become clear which posts have remained vacant, quips Hemant.
