After the dispute between India and Canada, Canada’s first Sikh Senator Sarabjit Singh Marwah has resigned from his post, which has become a topic of discussion. It is to be noted that Marwah was the first Sikh to be appointed to the Canadian Senate and his tenure was till 2026.
The Trudeau government has suffered a major setback as Indian-origin Sarabjit Singh Marwah has announced his resignation from the Canadian Senate amid rising tensions amid the Canada-India dispute.
