Agriculture machinery lottery drawn in Ferozepur, under Crop Residue Management Scheme

The agriculture machinery lottery was drawn in Ferozepur under Crop Residue Management Scheme in a fair manner, by the committee constituted under the chairmanship of Rajesh Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner from the application invited by the Punjab government portal for subsidizing paddy straw handling machines to farmers during the year 2023-24.

Speaking on the occasion, DC Dhiman said, in all, 10681 applications were received from private farmers and 1811 applications from cooperative societies, gram panchayats and self-help groups for subsidizing stubble handling machines in the district.
