BSF spotted drone in Ferozepur, in joint operation with police recovered 2.5 kg heroin

Ferozepur, September 17

On Sunday, in the early morning around 4.10 am BSF intercepted movement of suspected drone near Village – Gatti Rajoke, District – Ferozepur. As per laid down drill, BSF troops immediately reacted to intercept the drone with fire.

Further a Joint search operations with Punjab Police was carried – out. During the search at about 6.35 am, troops recovered one big size packet, suspected to be heroin (Gross weight – appx 2.5 Kg) attached with iron hook (for hanging to a drone), from a farming field near Vill – Gatti Rajoke.

Yet another nefarious smuggling attempt foiled by the joint efforts of BSF & Punjab Police.
