Panchayat land income increases by ten per cent in Ferozepur Rural Constituency

There is ten per cent increase in income from panchayat land, said MLA Ferozepur Rural Constituency, Rajnish Dahiya while holding a meeting with the District Development and Panchayat Officer, Block Development and Panchayat Officer, APOs and Panchayat Secretaries to discuss in detail the development works of the villages.

On this occasion, MLA Raznis Dahiya said that the income of Panchayat lands of Ferozepur Rural Constituency has increased by 10 per cent. He instructed the officials to carry out the development works in a transparent manner and on a priority basis and asked them to invest the income of the Panchayats in proper development works.

He said that all the panchayat secretaries of the constituency have been instructed to visit the villages under their jurisdiction once a week and after receiving the approval of the development works from the respective panchayats, pass on the same to the concerned J.E. and SDO so that the remaining development works can be done on priority basis. He also instructed to do the development work of poor colonies on priority basis.

Dahiya said, Rs 7,57,13,950 from 1725 acres of panchayat land of block Ghal Khurd in Ferozepur rural constituency, Rs 1,36,93,850 from 390 acres of panchayat land of Block Ferozepur and Rs 1,43,50,360 from 334 acres of panchayat land of Block Mamdot which is 10 per cent more than last year.

He said that the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is carrying out the development works of the villages and cities of the state on priority basis without any discrimination and the people of the constituency will not be allowed to suffer.
