DC Orders Assessment of Flood Damaged Crops in SAS Nagar District

The deputy commissioner, Aashika Jain has ordered to record the damage of crops that occurred due to recent floods in SAS Nagar district.

Issuing the directions of the State Government to hold special Girdawari of crop loss, she said that the assessment would be completed within a week. She said the assessment of every affected person would be recorded carefully and no one should be left behind.

She further said that in order to eliminate the complaints, assessment of damage done by the Patwaris would be further verified by the Kanungos, Circle Revenue Officers and Sub Divisional Magistrates and by the other high revenue authorities too.
