Sutlej River starts receding, relief material distribution continues in flood-affected villages in Ferozepur

Ferozepur, July 20

The water level in Sutlej river has decreased as compared to earlier as the water withdrawal from Hari Ke headwork has reduced to 44577 cusecs and from Hussainiwala headwork to 38143 cusecs and distribution of relief material continued in the flood-affected villages in the district.

Giving this information, Rajesh Dhiman, Deputy Commissioner said the relief work has been speed up and relief material has been distributed by the administration in the flood affected areas.
