Canada: Nawanshahr youth succumbs to injuries after violent carjacking incident
Mississauga, July 18
In a tragic incident, Gurvinder Nath, a 24-year-old youth of Brampton, succumbed to injured after being getting seriously injured in a violent carjacking incident.
According to the information received, 24-year-old Gurvinder Nath alias (Gani), a resident of Mand area of village Karimpur Chahwala of Nawanshar, went to Canada as an international student in the year 2021.
As per media reports, Gurvinder who worked food delivery driver has died of his injuries in hospital after he was attacked, left by the side of a road and his vehicle stolen.
The deceased was reportedly working in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road at 2:10 a.m. on July 9 and had arrived at a delivery address when he was confronted by unknown people and a “physical altercation” took place.
The unknown suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle leaving the victim at the side of the road with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a trauma center where on July 14, 2023, he succumbed to his injuries.
