Jalandhar: DC asks officers to provide effective and responsive Govt service to people

In a bid to provide effective and responsive government to the people, the Deputy Commissioner Jalandhar Vishesh Sarangal today asked the officers to accord top priority to the day-to-day administrative works of the people.

In an introductory meeting here at his office with the ministerial staff, the Deputy Commissioner said that the officers were duty-bound to ensure that people do not face any sort of problem in getting their routine administrative works done.

Sarangal said that it was our collective responsibility to ensure people get the benefit of all pro-people initiatives of the state government. He further added that this would help in facilitating the people besides ensuring that they get the administrative services in a time-bound manner.

The Deputy Commissioner asked the entire team to play a proactive role to percolate the benefit of these schemes in a coordinated and result oriented manner. He said that this would help in immensely benefit the people to avail these facilities.
