Permanent solution will be done to resolve the issue of ‘Sem’ in Bhattu area: Chautala

Haryana Deputy Chief Minister,  Dushyant Chautala, while addressing a public meeting in the villages of Fatehabad assembly constituency today, said that the Hisar-Ghaggar drain will be cleaned to solve the problem of ‘Sem’ (water logging) in Bhattu area. Apart from this, farmers will be given solar pumps for their fields.

Farmers should come forward to apply for installation of solar pumps on the portal, he added. Directing the officers to solve the problem of ‘Sem’, he said that the state government has worked on projects worth Rs. 1,900 crores in the last three years to resolve this problem.

Deputy Chief Minister was addressing public meetings in villages Pili Mandori, Dhabi Kalan, Khabra Kalan, Kirdhan, Nahla and Dhani Gopal of Fatehabad assembly constituency on Saturday. On this occasion, he also heard the public grievances of the citizens and gave directions to the officers to resolve them at the earliest.

Chautala said that the supply of drinking water will be given in the dhanis of the villages under the ‘Jal Jeevan Mission’. Citizens can apply for this. Farm roads will be paved under the Khet Sadak Marg Yojana. He informed the villagers that they can send the collective demands of the village to the government through the Gram Darshan portal, the government will immediately take cognizance of their demands raised on the portal.

Deputy Chief Minister,  Dushyant Chautala said that the state government has worked in the interest of the farmers. During the Covid period, more than 1800 mandis were established and their crops were procured. Earlier, farmers had to wait for two days in the mandi to sell their crops. Now the crops of the farmers are procured in two hours and the money is transferred directly to their bank accounts. The Deputy Chief Minister said that farmers whose crops were damaged due to water-logging and unseasonal rains have also been given compensation within a month after getting their assessment done on the e-Kshatipurti portal.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, the farmers whose crop was insured were not given compensation by the state government, but now the state government will give compensation to such farmers on a percentage basis for the bad crop. He said rural development is being ensured on the tune of cities. He added that Development works are also being approved through the Gram Darshan portal. Recently, thousands of development works of panchayats have been uploaded and their tenders have also been done.

Chautala said that the state government has given more than 600 services through the Saral Haryana portal and in the coming time one thousand services will be added to it. He said that service delivery through the portal has increased while ensuring transparency. Service of old age pension and yellow ration card received through Parivar Pehchan Patra.
