Jan Samvad held at kurukshetra’s Nalvi village

Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, during his visit to Kurukshetra on Monday, held a Jan Samvad at Nalvi village in Kurukshetra. During this, he inquired about their problems. Meanwhile, making a big announcement, the Chief Minister approved an amount of Rs 2 crore for 16 development works to be executed in the village.

The Chief Minister urged all the people present during the programme to share the problems and demands related to the development of their village on the Gram Darshan portal. The information about these demands will be sent to the concerned department and from there the estimates will be prepared, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

The Chief Minister also interacted with the Sarpanches present in the programme. During this, the Sarpanches also raised the demands related to drainage, construction of community centres etc before the Chief Minister and responding to which, he directed the officers to prepare the estimates of the said work at the earliest.

He said that Rs 1 crore has been spent for strengthening the drainage and road network in village Nalvi. An amount of Rs. 53 lakh has been spent for the construction of chaupal and other development works, shared the Chief Minister.

He said that about 32 lakh Ayushman cards have been made for families having income less than Rs 1.80 lakh. About 2024 Ayushman cards have been made in Nalvi village. E-tendering has brought transparency and it is proving very beneficial for the Sarpanches, said Sh. Manohar Lal.

Started several new public welfare schemes

The Chief Minister said that various new public welfare schemes have been started by the state government. The villages have been made Lal Dora free. Not only this, a provision has been made to give ownership rights to those who have owned shops or any property belonging to municipal corporations or municipalities for more than 20 years under the SVAMITVA scheme, said Sh. Manohar Lal.
