Big jolt to Akali Dal: Former MLA resigns from party, all set to join BJP

Chandigarh, April 9

Shiromani Akali Dal received a big jolt on Sunday when its senior leader and Former MLA Iqbal Inder Singh Atwal s/o Former Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker Charanjit Singh Atwal resigned from the party. It is learnt that he will join BJP today in Delhi.
