AAP intensifies preparations for Jalandhar by-election

The Aam Aadmi Party has intensified its preparations for the forthcoming Jalandhar by-election. In this regard, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab General Secretary Harchand Singh Barsat om Thursday held a meeting with the party’s MLAs and Halka in-charges and took their suggestions to formulate strategies for the poll.

On this occasion, Harchand Singh Barsat said that in the feedback received from the local leaders, it was informed that thousands of people are ready to join the Aam Aadmi Party. People are very satisfied with the free electricity, good health services and employment provided by the government.

Mann government has been rooting out corruption from Punjab. Persistent action is being taken against corrupt officers and leaders. Mann government has also taken action against its MLAs on the charges of corruption. No matter how influential a person is, if he indulges in corruption, he will not be spared.

He said that the party is very strong in Jalandhar from district level to block and booth level. The Aam Aadmi Party will fight the Lok Sabha by-election with full strength and will ensure a landside victory. AAP has been working for welfare of the common people, so the support of the common people is with us.

Attacking the opposition parties, Barsat said that the BJP-Akali government promoted gangsterism and mafia in Punjab. The BJP wants to suppress the AAP, but we are not afraid. BJP spreads hatred in the country by caste and religion politics. BJP does not have any roadmap for Punjab, he added.
