Punjab Police’s drive against drugs launched on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has started yielding positive results as the public extended fulsome support to the Punjab Police to make Punjab a drug-free state.
Punjab Police have been carrying out Cordon and Search Operations (CASOs) at drug hotspots in the state from time to time and people from all sections of society are very happy with the action of the force and cooperating with the Police teams.
Harpinder Singh, Sarpanch of village Kharaurhi (Fatehgarh Sahib), which has been declared as a Drug-Free Village by Panchayat, thanked Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Punjab Police for launching a war against drugs.
