Chandigarh MC: BJP wins all three posts

Chandigarh, January 17

BJP bagged victory on all three posts of Mayor, Senior Deputy Mayor, and deputy mayor in the voting on Tuesday.

Harjeet Singh of the BJP has been elected as the deputy mayor of Chandigarh. The AAP losing candidate Suman Sharma got 14 votes whereas Harjeet got 15 votes out of a total of 29 votes polled.

Earlier for the post, BJP’s Anup Gupta and Kanwarjeet Singh Rana bagged victory.
