Dr. Namita Gupta appointed as Director Public Relations, Panjab University, Chandigarh

Dr. Namita Gupta, Associate Professor, Centre for Human Rights and Duties has been appointed as Director of Public Relations cum Editor PU News. Gold medalist in both MA and M.Phil, Dr. Gupta is a senior faculty and former Chairperson in the Centre for Human Rights and Duties, Panjab University. She has attended many national and international conferences in India and abroad and has authored/edited four books. She has published extensively in various national and international journals. She is in the academic bodies of various universities in the region. She is currently the President of Thematic Group on Human Rights and Global Justice in International Sociological Association.
