As many as 86 recruit constables, including 48 men and 38 women from Recruit Batch No. 181 of Chandigarh Police, graduated today after successfully completing their basic training. The passing-out parade, held with great enthusiasm, showcased the discipline and dedication of these new officers.
The Chief Guest, Commandant (Training) Mandeep Singh Gill inspected the parade and received the salute. He congratulated the recruits for their achievement and motivated them to serve society with impartiality and discipline. He urged them to uphold the law while contributing positively to the police force and society.
During the training, the recruits were extensively trained in outdoor and indoor subjects. Outstanding performers were honored for their excellence. Woman Recruit Constable Sonia (All-Round First and Second Parade Commander), Woman Recruit Constable Jyoti (First in Outdoor Training), Woman Recruit Constable Preeti (First in Indoor Training), Recruit Constable Sukhdeep Singh (Best in Shooting), and Woman Recruit Constable Shikha (Parade Commander) received special awards for their exemplary performance.
The event also featured engaging displays, including a band performance, unarmed combat demonstrations, a tug-of-war show, and a vibrant mass Bhangra performance, adding color to the occasion.The ceremony was attended by senior police officials, retired officers, training center staff, and the proud families of the graduating recruits.
