Youth escapes without paying Rs 4,324.28 diesel cost at petrol pump in Chandigarh

A rider reached the petrol filling station in Chandigarh around 8.30 pm to fill fuel in his car. The young man in the car asked the employee at the pump to fill the tank of the car. On this the employee filled the tank of the vehicle with fuel. A total of Rs 4,324.28 diesel was poured into the vehicle. The young man went out and gave the SBI card to the pump employee to give money. The employee went to get the swipe machine. After that, the young man fled with the car from behind. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed at the petrol pump. The incident took place at Tiwana Service Station Indian Oil Pump located in Sector-43. The manager of the pump, Rajeev Sharma, has given a complaint about the incident to Sector-43 police outpost. Police have registered a case against the accused youth and started investigation.
