Voter lists will be published in the Kapurthala district from November 1 to 30

Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Kapurthala Deepti Upal said that no eligible voter in the district should be deprived of casting votes. He informed that in view of the 2022 assembly elections, special cursory correction of voter lists is being conducted from 01.11.2021 to 30.11.2021 on the basis of merit date 01.01.2022 . He said that the relevant special camp each booth from the orders of the Election Commission of India 06 and 07 and Bi.alkojh on November 21 will be charged.

The District Election Officer further informed that in addition to the above, the Voter Help Life App has been launched keeping the main goal of improving the voter lists and registering all the eligible citizens.

He told that through this app, any person who is turning 18 on January 01 and who is a resident of Kapurthala can get a new vote made, vote can be deducted , vote can be done. He said that under this app the tracking status of the said proceedings can also be tracked and e-APIC card can also be downloaded (only for the registered voters of 18 -19 years of age during the year 2021 ). He appealed to the eligible people of the district, especially the youth, to take maximum advantage of the Voter Helpline App issued by the Election Commission of India for voter registration.
