Veteran actor Dharmendra comes in support of farmers

Veteran actor Dharmendra reminded people to wear masks and maintain social distancing, He took to Twitter to share a throwback black-and-white photograph, where he can be seen sitting with sliced watermelons and a knife. He urged all to take safety precautions and later shared a video of getting his first dose of Covid vaccine. The actor said that he got pumped up while tweeting and decided to get vaccinated. While farmers have been protesting at Delhi borders for more than 100 days, Bollywood actor Dharmendra Deol commented on farmers’ protest extending his support and prayers to those who have been camping at the borders. Dharmendra Deol tweeted a video of him getting vaccinated. He captioned: “Tweet karte karte…. josh aa gaya …aur main nikal gaya….vaccination lene …. it’s definitely not a show-off…but to inspire you all….. Friends, please take care.” To this, several people started commenting on his video. A Twitter user said to speak up about the farmers who have been agitating at Delhi borders. Responding to the comment, Dharmendra Deol, talking about farmers’ protest, replied: “Sukhvindar, I have great respect for my community. They will win. We did our best to solve the problem. Worried for this delay. We pray for them.”Another user wrote: “The farmer movement is underway, you should go to the site and boost their morale.” “They are much strong than I. I always pray for my loving community,” he replied. Farmers have been protesting against the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
