Extending a helping hand to the State Government for its concerted efforts against coronavirus and mitigating the hardships being faced by poor and needy, the Staff of Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana has donated Rs.72.56 lakh towards CM Relief Fund COVID-19.
Disclosing this today, an official spokesperson said that Vice-Chancellor, PAU Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon handed over a cheque of the aforementioned amount to the Food & Civil Supplies Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu.
Expressing gratitude to Vice Chancellor for this benevolent gesture, Ashu said this contribution would go a long way in providing succor to the needy and poor people in these difficult times amid COVID-19. He also thanked the entire staff of PAU for wholehearted support and cooperation in the government’s relentless battle against coronavirus pandemic.
