In addition to the dividing road of Sector-17-22, on the dividing road of Sector-16 and 17, the underpass connecting Sector-17 plaza to the Rose Garden of Sector-16 is greatly benefiting the residents. The estimated cost for the underpass is about Rs 7.20 crore. There will be a lot of facilities for people and patients. This underpass will be 15 meters wide and 38 meters long. In addition to basic facilities like photostat, it will have 12 such shops which are used all the time. These include everything from food to food and others. In addition to the stairway, the underpass will have lifts and escalators for the convenience of the elderly and patients on wheelchairs. The underpass will also reduce congestion on the road and enable PGI and PU to come without any obstructions.
