Bharatiya Kisan Sangh Rajewal chief Balbir Singh Rajewal has warned the central government and the state government against hike in petrol and diesel prices and announced that a massive tractor march will be taken out in Samrala on June 29. Balbir Singh Rajewal said that today common man and farmers are upset due to rising prices of petrol and diesel along with other commodities. Due to the arbitrariness of the government, the life of every section of the society has become pathetic. He said that a huge tractor march would be taken out in Samrala on 29th June at 10:30 am in protest.
He said that in front of Malwa College (Bondli) in Samrala, a huge crowd of farmers would gather with tractors at 10.30 am and the tractors would be dragged with ropes to the SDM office. He demanded that the state government should reduce its VAT on central excise duty. Rajewal said that the dharna on June 29 was an indication that if the government did not fix the prices of petrol and diesel in Punjab in the coming days, then a long agitation would be launched against it.
