This ‘paan’ with gold warq costs Rs. 600 per piece

The story of a paan parlour in Delhi has gone viral on social media because it is selling one of its specialties gold paan for Rs 600 each. Yamu’s Panchayat is a paan parlour, located in Connaught Place, and a video of their gold paan was posted to Instagram and has gone viral. In the clip posted to Yamu’s Panchayat’s account, a woman demonstrated the process as she made the gold paan with several ingredients including dry dates, cardamom, sweet chutney, gulkand, cloves and cherry bits apart from desiccated coconut. To round it off, she covered the paan with gold varq and garnished it with cherries. “This is just so refreshing,” she said after serving it. “This is raffaelo gold paan worth Rs 600,” an excerpt from the caption of the post reads. The video has gone viral with thousands of views and social media users shared their thoughts and opinions in the comments section. Several users although found it overpriced.
