The Coronavirus pandemic has brought the world to a standstill. Prime Minister of India has also extended the lockdown till May 3. All of us have been stuck in our homes and sometimes this quarantine hits hard. One feels difficult to stay at home. Even the ‘Royals’ are not allowed to step out. But the fact is that they live in luxurious homes. Some of the renowned faces of royal families of India are sharing their quarantine experiences on Instagram. Let’s have a look at them.

Saif Ali Khan

The list of royals will remain incomplete without talking about actor Saif Ali Khan. Saif belongs to the Pataudi clan who once ruled as Nawabs of Pataudi in Haryana. Saif is spending his quarantine at his house in Mumbai with his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan.

He has been reading books, playing music, and painting the walls during the quarantine. Wife Kareena Kapoor has shared his and Taimur’s pictures on her Instagram account.

Yaduveer Wadiyar

The kingdom of Mysore was ruled by the Wadiyar dynasty. They have their history to Yaduvanshi clan of Lord Krishna. 28-year-old Yaduveer Krishnadutta Chamaraj Wadiyar is the current head of the dynasty. As directed by PM Narendra Modi, he also lit the candles and shared the video on his Instagram handle. Even the royals are bowing their heads to the frontline COVID warriors during this pandemic.

Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar

He is the eldest son of Arvind Singh Mewar, the current head of the Mewar dynasty who ruled over Udaipur for years. Their family lives in Udaipur city palace. They run the HRH group of hotels which have 10 luxury hotels under it. Currently, they are the richest and most successful royals in India.

As the salons in the country are closed because of the lockdown, the royals are also trying to get everything done by themselves at home. Lakshyaraj shared a picture in which his sister gives him s haircut.

Radhikaraje Gaekwad

The Gaekwad dynasty ruled the Baroda city and now it is headed by HRH Gaekwad. He lives with wife Radhikaraje Gaekwad and two kids in Laxmi Vilas Palace, the biggest private residence in the country. It has a golf course which is generally open for all. But thanks to the lockdown, the royal family is enjoying crowd-free golf with no one disturbing them.

Rajyashree Kumari

She belongs to the Rathod dynasty which ruled Bikaner. Rajyashree is the daughter of the last Maharaja of Bikaner, HH Karni Singh. She posted some pictures in which she can be seen cuddling with her pet dog and both of them are spending their quarantine in Lalgarh Palace.

Just for your information, Rajyashree is a national level shooter and has won the Arjuna award for her achievements in the sport.
