Special Task Force held two gangsters in Ferozepur

The Special Task Force of Punjab Police have arrested two gangsters having links with Shishu gangsters with the recovery of 2 pistols, 3 magazines, 12 live cartridges, 60 gm heroin, Rs.6.3 lakh drug money and car number DL-9CT-4744 from their possession. The accused have been booked under Section 21 and 29 of NDPS Act and Sections 25, 54 and 59 of Arms Act at STF, SAS Nagar police station, said SSP Charanjit Singh. Following the inputs, the gangsters identified as David, alias Laddi shooter and Lovepreet Sandhu alias Akash, both residents of Naurang ke Sial village in Ferozepur district were nabbed by putting up a naka near Dhani Bale Wali . Added here, Laddi shooter had provided a weapon to members of Shishu gang who had mistakenly open fire in Housing Board Colony on April 23, to take revenge from Sherry gang.  The police later on arrested ten members of the gang, including its head Jagsir Singh alias Shishu while four miscreants were nabbed from Pavilion Mall in Ludhiana. As per the record, accused David is already booked in murder and NDPS Act at Ferozepur while Lovepreet Sandhu was wanted in three cases of Section 302 374 and 324.
