Shri Guru Granth Sahib’s disrespect in Ludhiana, accused arrested

Ludhiana police received information late on Monday that two bike riders had thrown something into the fields near the intersection of the stalwarts on Tibba Road. Investigation revealed that some parts of Sri Guru Granth Sahib are scattered in the fields. As soon as the information was received, Joint Police Commissioner Kanwardeep Kaur reached the spot.

The police took the head of the Gurdwara Sahib along and handled that part in a respectful manner. Police registered a case against the unknown and turned the entire area into a police camp.
On Tuesday, police investigation revealed that the young man Seva Singh, who had given information to the police on the phone, actually did it. The accused works in a Punjabi newspaper and was the first to commit the news. Police have arrested the accused.

Joint Commissioner of Police Kanwardeep Kaur said that the accused lived in Seva Singh Prem Vihar Colony. Works for a newspaper in Batala. After joining the WhatsApp group made for the newspaper, he himself disrespected himself for the first time in the news. The accused then informed Badlav Singh of Singh Sabha Gurdwara that two bike riders had thrown something in the fields near the intersection leading to the kothi of the jawadis. When seen there, he was a part of Saichi Sahib and Gutka Sahib of Sri Gurugranth Sahib. He then informed the police about it.
