On the directions of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) President Advocate Harjinder Singh, to discuss Sikh issues, a delegation of SGPC will hold a meeting with Iqbal Singh Lalpura, Chairman of National Commission for Minorities (NCM), India at New Delhi on Thursday.
Giving information in this regard, SGPC assistant secretary media, Kulwinder Singh said SGPC President Advocate Harjinder Singh had formed a delegation to discuss various Sikh issues with the NCM, including SGPC General Secretary Karnail Singh Panjoli, Executive member Sarvan Singh Kular, members Satwinder Singh Tohra and Gurcharan Singh Grewal and Secretary, Dharam Prachar Committee.
Kulwider Singh said that due to ignorance by the governments, the Sikh issues have not been resolved for a long time.
“The delegation will hold a meeting with the Chairman of NCM, India on June 16, with regards to pending important Sikh issues and appeal to get them resolved from the government”, said Kulwinder Singh.
