Sangrur, November 9
The 39-year-old Pamposh Kaushik from Sangrur, along with his 19 colleagues hoisted the tricolor at Pir Panjal in Shillong Valley, Himachal Pradesh, to salute the spirit of doctors and government employees who worked as Corona warriors during this pandemic. They also paid tribute to those who died due to coronavirus, this peak is about 17333 feet high.
Pamposh Kaushik, says that he is fond of heights, he often visits mountains with his team as it’s his passion. The winter is just about to start and Coronavirus is also at its peak. Due to which the team decided to raise the spirit of Coronavirus warriors so that they stay motivated and encouraged.
Chhattisgarh tourism sponsored this mission and Pamposh got permission from the government for 8 days to reach this peak, but due to the good weather, they reached the peak in just 5 days and hoisted the flag on top of it.
