The first vaccine, offering “sustainable immunity” against coronavirus has been developed in Russia, President Vladimir Putin reportedly said on Tuesday.

During a televised conference call with the government ministers, the Russian President reportedly said, “This morning, for the first time in world, a vaccine against the new coronavirus was registered in Russia.”

Further, he said that one of his daughters had this vaccine and, in this sense, she took part in the experiment. Last week, WHO has reportedly urged Russia to follow established guidelines and go “through all the stages” necessary to develop a safe vaccine.
