Restrictions imposed by the UT Administration to control Coronavirus in Chandigarh have been extended for a week, although some concessions have also been granted. This decision has been taken in the Covid War Meeting held by the officers headed by Administrator VP Singh Badnaur on Monday afternoon. The deadline for opening shops in the city has been extended. Now the shops will be closed one hour after the scheduled time. That is, shops will now open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The administration has not given permission to open the mall, cinema. At the same time, the gym and spa will not open yet. Only salons will be open for services such as haircuts. This decision has been taken in the Covid War Room meeting chaired by Administrator VP Singh Badnore at Punjab Raj Bhavan. Detailed orders will be issued by the evening under the Disaster Management Act.
