An awareness campaign has been launched by the volunteers of Red Cross Society Bathinda under Mission Fateh launched by the Punjab Government. Volunteers are educating the city’s shopkeepers, and the public about the safety measures need to be adopted from coronavirus.
Secretary Red Cross Society Darshan Kumar Bansal said that under the leadership of Naresh Pathania, First Aid Trainer of the Society, the volunteers distributed awareness leaflets and masks to passersby and shopkeepers at Arya Samaj Chowk and Mahina Chowk.
The public was also taught how to properly use face masks, maintain social distance, and wash their hands properly. Addressing the public on the occasion Naresh Pathania said that we can control the coronavirus disease only if we strictly follow the instructions given by the government.
