Ferozepur, July 31
The farmers started gathering, on Sunday, at rail tracks at 8 places in Punjab on a call given by the Kissan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee (KMSC) Punjab, against the Central government for backing out from the promises to the farmers of the country and pressing for immediate implementation of the demands accepted demands.
As per the information, So far, agitators at Ferozepur Bathinda track at Faridkot, at Ferozepur Fazilka track at Guruarharsahai, at ASR-SNL track at PHR, at ASR, at JRC-PTKC, at SR-KEMK, at JRC-HSX, and Train No.22430 PTK-DLI have gathered at these eight tracks, to register their protest.
The trains have been controlled at the agitation points as a precautionary measure and to avoid any untoward incident.
