Punjab State Netball Competition district team winners honoured in Mansa

The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sukhpreet Singh Sidhu, today felicitated the players who had made the name of the district shine at the state level in the 13th Junior (Girls) Punjab State Netball Championship.
On this occasion, he congratulated the President, General Secretary, and the players of the Netball Promotion Association and encouraged them about the upcoming competitions at the national level, and said that he was hopeful that the state team would be able to play at the national level as well. Giving more details about the netball competitions held, the President of Netball Promotion Association Mansa Mr. Jatinder Agra said that the state-level netball competitions held on 29th, 30th, and 31st at Noor Sainik Academy Sardulgarh in which all the districts of the state participated. The first place was won by the junior team of the district. He said that a state-level training camp would be organized at Noor Sainik Academy Sardulgarh under the supervision of General Secretary Kulwinder Singh to prepare for the national level competitions to be held in Telangana after the state level.
Training would be imparted to the players from the districts.
He said that earlier from 22nd to 24th January in Sangrur district senior netball competitions were held in which the boys and girls teams of Mansa district bagged the third position. He was honored by the Additional Deputy Commissioner. He said that the players would not be allowed to face any difficulty during the training and every effort would be made to make the name of the state and district famous at the national level as well.
