Heartfelt tributes paid to Joint Director Preet Kanwal Singh’s Mother Swaranjit Kaur

Chandigarh, October 5:

In memory of Joint Director, Information and Public Relations Department Preet Kanwal Singh’s Mother Swaranjit Kaur, who passed into eternity recently, Antim Ardas was held today at Gurudwara Singh Sabha in Sector 46 D. During the occasion, eminent personalities from various walks of life paid heartfelt tributes to the departed soul.

The Raagi Singhs performed Gurbani Kirtan and spiritual thoughts were also shared. Throwing light on the life journey of Mata Swaranjit Kaur, the Deputy Director Information and Public Relations Department Navdeep Singh Gill said that Mata Ji was well educated, had keen intellect and sharing the eventful journey of life with her husband Mr. Bahadur Singh, ensured high moral qualities along with best possible education for their children who have carved out a niche for themselves in the society.

Senior journalist Hamir Singh expressed gratitude to the entire Sangat on behalf of the family. Describing the relationship a Mother has with her children as the most sacred as well as important, he said that the demise of a Mother is unbearable and cannot be described in words.

On the occasion from amongst the family members, Husband of the deceased – Mr. Bahadur Singh, Son in Law Justice P.S. Teji, Sons Amandeep Singh & Preet Kanwal Singh and Daughter Advocate Gagan Mohini were present.
