Punjab CM’s son wedding to be a simple, intimate ceremony, CM Khattar will not be attending Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi’s eldest son Navjit Singh’s wedding will be a simple and intimate ceremony.
Navjit Singh is all set to tie the knot to an engineering graduate Simrandheer Kaur. She is a resident of Ambala village near Derabassi.
As per the information received from CM’s close relatives, the marriage will be held in a relatively simple manner and in accordance with Sikh etiquette.
Insiders have revealed that Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar or any other outside VVIPs will not be attending the wedding.
As per the latest input received the Baraat will arrive on Sunday i.e October 10 at Gurudwara Saacha Dhan in Phase 3 in Mohali.
After the Anand Karaj ceremony, Barat will go back home from there only.
The family is also planning to limit the post-wedding celebration functions to family and close relatives and friends.
It has been learned that the Chief Minister has also asked the family to follow the COVID-19 protocols during the wedding ceremonies.
