Petrol, diesel rates up by 30 paise, petrol in Mumbai crosses ₹ 94 per liter

Government oil companies on Wednesday increased the domestic fuel prices by up to 30 paise per liter. According to a notification by the Indian Oil Corporation, petrol and diesel have now touched a new high of Rs 87.60 per liter in the national capital and Rs 77.73 per liter. Oil companies have increased the rates of petrol and diesel for the second consecutive day. On Tuesday, petrol rates in Delhi were raised from Rs 86.95 per liter to Rs 87.30 per liter. At the same time, the price of diesel had also increased from Rs 77.13 per liter to Rs 77.48 per liter. Petrol prices in Mumbai have crossed Rs 94 per liter on Wednesday, while diesel is selling at Rs 84.63 per liter. Buyers in Mumbai will have to pay Rs 94.12 for a liter of petrol today. Other metro cities have also seen an increase in fuel rates. In Chennai today, both auto fuels are priced at Rs 89.96 per liter and Rs 82.90 per liter. Customers in Kolkata will now have to pay Rs 88.92 per liter for petrol and Rs 81.31 per liter for one liter of diesel. The price of petrol and diesel in Bangalore is now Rs 90.53 per liter and Rs 82.40 per liter.
