Nestle today organized a blood donation camp in its factory and 101 employees of the company donated blood.
Speaking on the occasion, Civil Surgeon Moga Dr. Andesh Kang said that in such a difficult time, such an initiative inspires the society to do something new.
The factory manager Stanley O’Malley said that Nestle was not only distributing food items but also helping people by donating blood. He said that the company has always been working on such ventures and during the blood donation camp, special care was taken for the social distance. Everyone inside the factory was checked for temperature with a thermal scanner and sanitizers were used during the camp.
On this occasion Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr Jaswant Singh, Food Safety Officer Jatinder Singh, SMO Dr Moga Rajesh Atri, Nestle’s HR Manager Ravi Singh, Camp Coordinator Suresh Mahindiratta, Dr BS Bhullar, Jaspal Sidhu and Harwinder Singh were present.
