Nabha : Captain Government will protect the interests of Punjab farmers at all costs

Punjab Minister for Forests, Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Mr. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot said that Punjab Government under the leadership of Capt. Amarinder Singh would safeguard the interests of the farmers and laborers of the state at all costs. He said that the fight against 3 Kisan Maru laws passed by Modi government would be brought to an end.
On the occasion of launching the second phase of Smart Village Campaign in Patiala district at village Achal in Nabha today, disclosing this here today Mr. Dharamsot said that the Chief Minister had given a special gift to the villages of Patiala district under which 2959 works would be carried out in 117 villages of 9 blocks of the district at a cost of Rs. 121 crore. In Nabha block alone, 405 works would be carried out at a cost of Rs 20.12 crore.
Former Congress president and MP Mr. Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh today launched the second phase of Smart Village Campaign online through a web conference and launched the campaign to make 117 villages of Patiala district smart. Sadhu Singh Dharamsot at Achal village in Nabha block. He dedicated the newly constructed rooms at the Government Middle Smart School in the village to the students.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Dharamsot said that a special session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha has been convened against the 3 Kisan Maru laws framed by the Modi government at the Center, during which the farmers and laborers of Punjab would be discussed. He said that Modi government of BJP was killing farmers but Congress would fight its battle against Kisan Maru laws.
Mr. Mr. Dharamsot further said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh was fulfilling its commitment to make all the villages prosperous by carrying out corruption free and quality work to make the state prosperous. He said that the Punjab government was fulfilling the target of developing the villages of the state without any discrimination and the village infrastructure was being strengthened.
The Cabinet Minister said that recently under Mission Healthy Punjab 750 stadiums were being constructed in the villages under 5 sports stadiums per block. Apart from this, the government has provided jobs and employment opportunities to 15 lakh unemployed and now recruitment is being started for 1 lakh government posts.
Meanwhile, Block Samiti Chairman Ichhiaman Singh Bhojomajri, former Municipal Council President Rajneesh Mittal Shanti, SDM Mr. Kala Ram Kansal, DSP Mr. Rajesh Chibber, Mr. Gram Panchayat members and villagers including Dharamsot PA Charanjit Batish, BDPO Surinder Singh Dhaliwal, Sarpanch Paramjit Kaur, Yadvinder Singh were present.
