The progressive/total paddy arrivals in the Kharif Marketing season 2020-21 until 5 October is 38988 metric tons out of which 38278 MT has been purchased, informed DC Girish Dayalan.
Further DC said that lifting of 11320 metric tons of paddy has been done.
On 5 October the paddy arrival was 8327 MT with progressive arrival being 38988 MT. The purchase details include 9035 MT by Pungrain, 16854 MT by Markfed, 4595 MT by Punsup, 6556 by Punjab State Warehousing Corporation, 1150 MT by Food Corporation of India and 88 MT by millers.
