MLA Alwa moves with devotees in 60 buses to pay obeisance at Baba Budha Sahib Gurdawara

On Wednesday morning, MLA Raminder Singh Awla from Jalalabad constituency served delicious ‘langar’ to thousands of devotees from his residence at Ferozepur and moved in 60 buses caravan for annual fair dedicated to the memory of one of the most venerated and primal figures of Sikhism Baba Budha Sahib at Baba Budha Sahib Gurdawara.

On this occasion Congress leaders Iqbal Brar, Lincoln Malhotra, Riteish Awla, Sarpanch Mahipal Singh, Charanjit Singh, Deepa Sarpanch, Mahavir Singh, Chairman Rajpal Singh, Manmeet Sigh Mithu ex-MC and others were present.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Raminder Awla said that as usual a large number of devotees from Jalalabad Assembly constituency are going to pay obeisance Baba Buddha Sahib. He said, last time he went on foot with the Sangat and this time the elders, women and the children were also going, so buses were arranged.

MLA said by paying obeisance to Baba Budha Sahib to seek blessings for peace, progress, unity, integrity and prosperity of the people. He also prayed for peace of mind of the farmers killed under a conspiracy during the peaceful peasant agitation in Lakhimpur Khiri and in the past during the agitation against the three black agriculture laws enacted by the Central government.

He further said, we would also pray that our country would move towards development and progress and for the prosperity of the farmers of our country.
