Milkha Singh admitted to ICU of PGIMER Hospital, oxygen level decreased

Milkha Singh was admitted to Mohali hospital for 6 days, after this his health improved and he was discharged from the hospital. But on Thursday, his health deteriorated again. Four days after beating the corona virus, the great runner Milkha Singh has once again been admitted to hospital. Milkha Singh’s oxygen level has come down and he was admitted to PGIMR Hospital, Chandigarh on Thursday afternoon. Milkha’s son and golfer Jeev Milkha Singh has confirmed the news, he told the media that Milkha Singh was admitted to Mohali Hospital for 6 days but his health become progressively worse again. Milkha Singh contracted the corona virus on May 19, after which he was admitted to the hospital on May 24. Milkha Singh’s oxygen was depleted and his body became dehydrated. Milkha Singh’s wife Nirmal Kaur also became corona of corona and is also hospitalized. Milkha Singh’s condition is said to be stable at present. Known as the Flying Sikh, Milkha Singh is the greatest track and field athlete in the history of Indian sports. Milkha Singh is the only athlete to have won a gold medal in the 400 meters at the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games. Milkha had won gold medals in the 1958 and 1962 Asian Games. Milkha represented India in the 1956, 1960 and 1964 Olympics. Milkha Singh has also been honored with the Padma Shri award for his contribution to sports.
