Mansa: 3,552 Citizens vaccinated during special camps under Mission Fateh

Disclosing this here today Deputy Commissioner Mohinder Pal said that the special vaccination drive launched by the district administration to deal with the Corona epidemic was yielding fruitful results and today during the vaccination camps organized in four health blocks of the district 3552 persons were vaccinated under Mission Fateh. There was an enthusiastic response to the administration’s initiative to ensure health care. The Deputy Commissioner said that during the recent mega camps about 13,000 citizens had responded to the administrative efforts by getting vaccinated in a single day and we are still motivated to reach out to the people through every medium and get them vaccinated on time.

We have been doing and have been quite successful under this expectation. Mohinder pal said that the residents of Mansa have become more aware than before and are now reaching out to the villages and urban areas on their own to avail the benefits of immunization camps. “Being aware of our own health care is a good step towards creating a healthier society and we must continue to work towards it as we have not yet completely conquered Corona,” he said. He said that health precautions are very important to prevent corona and advice like wearing mask, frequent hand washing and social distance should not be ignored. The Deputy Commissioner said that today’s camps in villages and cities also received overwhelming response. He said that ADC Vikas Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu and SDM Mansa Shikha Bhagat, SDM Budhlada Harpreet Singh, SDM Sardulgarh Manisha Rana and Civil Surgeon Dr. Under the supervision of Sukhwinder Singh, various teams were continuously engaged for the success of these camps and achieved the set targets.
