A Twitter user on Friday morning shared a picture of a signboard which was won hearts of many. Also, the picture has gone viral on the microblogging platform within a day.
The picture is of a signboard of a medical shop in Ludhiana which reads “Gupta and Daughters”. Usually in India, people associate their businesses with their sons. But this picture of a medical shop in Ludhiana has broken the gender stereotypes.
Sharing the picture on Twitter, Dr Aman Kashyap applauded the owners of the shop for this change.
He wrote, “Gupta and daughters … Unlike all the shops opened in the name of Sons, a medicine shop in association with “Gupta & Daughters” spotted in Ludhiana. Be the change you want to see in this world.”

This signboard picture has been liked by more than 5,000 likes and has been retweeted 1,100 people. Appreciating the picture, many said that it was a right step towards women empowerment.
